The top of the camera is fully dedicated to the operation of GPS, other than the shutter button, of course. Here we can find a closed GPS antenna rubber cover, the atlas which will display a map, and the locator button that will show our location on the map.
As already mentioned, the EX-H20G not slim, but also not too thick. 10x zoom lens also does not stand out too long. On the right side of the camera can be found port USB / AV and HDMI port.

GPS Performance
In EX-H20G have a built-in maps. This map can be set zoom level and can be shifted to the four directions to locate. Using this map, we can find our location. We can also see the location of the objects that attract tourists and their photograph. That way, we can prioritize which ones need to be visited.
EX-H20G using Hybrid GPS unique. With other GPS camera, every time the camera turned on then we need to wait until the camera gets a signal from GPS satellites, the duration can be up to one minute. Not so with EX-H20G. With the Hybrid-GPS, we just need to lock all locations via satellite. Afterward the camera will monitor the movement via the accelerometer and just have not ever checked the location via GPS. This makes it not only faster to lock the location, but also more power efficient. Compared to other GPS camera, the EX-H20G resistant to 2 times longer, up to 480 frames with the GPS active and 600 frames without GPS.
Flickr with geotagging.
Photographs taken with an active GPS will record the location of the photos were taken. If opened with compatible applications, you can see a map of travel / shoot you. So also when you upload photos to sites that support geotagging such as Flickr and Picasa.
Quality Photo & Video
We tested the quality of the image by taking a sample photo using various levels of sensitivity. The pictures below are the results of 100% crop from a photo as above.
EX-H20G-ISO-80. EX-H20G-ISO-100. EX-H20G-ISO-200. EX-H20G-ISO-400. EX-H20G-ISO-800. EX-H20G-ISO-1600. EX-H20G-ISO-3200.
As seen above, the images at low ISO includes both. Up to ISO 200, detail photo is quite high. At ISO 400-800, details began to decline and at ISO 1600 to top the noise is really disturbing. This means that the EX-H20G more suitable for outdoor cameras.
